This policy describes the actual state of the jeton.pl website. We explain which cookies and technologies we use, what for and how long we store them. The controller of the website is Jeton Cloud Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Domaniewska 37/2.43, 02-672 Warszawa. The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by the browser on the user’s device while using the website. Among other things, they make it possible to remember settings or to enable the correct operation of the site’s functions. Alongside classic cookies, there are related technologies, such as sessionStorage and localStorage, which also store data in the browser but operate on different principles than cookies.
We divide files and technologies into necessary ones, that is, those without which the website or its functions do not work correctly, and optional ones, for example marketing or analytics. In accordance with the law, necessary files do not require the user’s consent. Consent is only required for optional files, and we do not use any of these on the jeton.pl website.
What technologies we use
On the website we use only technologies necessary for its operation, the handling of forms and ensuring security. The table below presents an overview of them.
| Name / type | Purpose | Storage time |
|---|---|---|
| Form session (technical cookie / sessionStorage) | Correct handling of the contact, quote, service report, download and newsletter forms and maintaining the state of the form while it is being filled in | Until the end of the browser session |
| Form protection (time-trap, HMAC token) | Protection of forms against spam and bots, verification of the correctness and time of sending a report | Until the form is sent, at most the duration of the session |
| Visit source attribution (sessionStorage) | Remembering the source of entry to the site for the purposes of handling the enquiry, without creating a persistent identifier | Until the end of the browser session |
| Interface preferences (localStorage) | Remembering display settings, for example the colour variant | Until the user clears the browser data |
All the above items are necessary or technical in nature. They do not serve to track the user on other websites or to build a marketing profile.
No marketing cookies
The jeton.pl website does not use marketing, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, external chatbots or third-party widgets that could save their own cookies on the user’s device.
Because we do not use files requiring consent, there is no consent banner on the website and there does not need to be one. We do not ask for consent, because we do not collect data that would require such consent.
Cookieless analytics
We currently do not carry out any traffic analytics on the website. If in the future we decide to measure visits, we will use only a self-hosted solution operating without cookies (cookieless), for example Matomo or Plausible, configured without profiling and without tracking the user across websites.
Such analytics is disabled by default. Should it be enabled, we would describe this in this policy together with the scope of the statistical data collected. Cookieless solutions collect only aggregated, anonymous statistics and do not save persistent identifiers in the browser.
How to manage cookies in your browser
The user may at any time view, block and delete cookies and website data from within their browser settings. The relevant options are usually found in the section relating to privacy or website data. The settings can be found in the browser’s documentation, for example Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari or Opera.
It is worth remembering that necessary files are responsible for the correct operation of forms and security measures. Blocking them may make it difficult or impossible to send an enquiry and to use some of the website’s functions.
Changes
We may update the cookie policy, for example when the technologies used change or when we launch cookieless analytics. The current version is always available on the website, and the date of the last change is indicated by the update field at the beginning of the document. The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
