IT support for offices and service firms
An office does not need an in-house IT department, just a partner who picks up the phone when email is down and makes sure hardware and files are simply at hand. We take that on.
Service firms and offices rarely have their own IT, yet everything rests on computers, email and files in the cloud. We run them like an external IT department: one number for help, tidy hardware, accounts and access, and a fixed cost you can plan into the budget.
Challenges in this sector
-
No in-house IT department
When something stops working, someone on the team loses time fixing it instead of working. Without a single point of contact, problems drag on for hours.
-
Chaos in hardware and accounts
A new employee waits for a computer and access, while a leaver takes passwords in their head. Without an onboarding and offboarding process, chaos and risk grow.
-
Email and files without backup
Microsoft 365 does not protect against deletion, account takeover or file encryption. Losing a mailbox or a shared drive can bring the office to a halt.
-
Unpredictable IT costs
Ad hoc call-outs for a technician are a cost you cannot plan. The firm pays the most exactly when something has already broken.
-
Weak account protection
Accounts protected by a password alone are the most common route of attack. Taking over one mailbox opens access to correspondence and client data.
-
No response to outages
Without monitoring, a problem only comes to light when an employee reports it. We want to know about an outage before the team does.
AI in the office, rolled out sensibly
AI can take load off an office in everyday tasks: writing and summarising emails, preparing proposals, organising documents and meeting notes. For a service firm that means real time returned to the team.
We help you choose tools suited to the size of your firm and roll them out safely: a clear rule on what data must not be pasted into public tools, company accounts instead of private ones, and a short team training. Thanks to that, AI helps while client data stays under control.
Offices choose us because they get one point of contact and a fixed cost instead of chasing a technician when something has already broken.

Frequently asked questions
Is IT outsourcing worth it for us instead of hiring a technician?
For most offices, yes. For a fixed subscription you get a whole team, helpdesk and monitoring, usually cheaper than one full-time role, and without holidays or sick leave when help is needed.
How quickly do you respond when something is not working?
A ticket goes to the helpdesk and is handled under an agreed SLA. Issues that block work have the highest priority, and we resolve many problems remotely right away.
Do you help with hiring and offboarding an employee?
Yes. We prepare the computer, accounts and access for a new person, and when someone leaves we tidy up and revoke access so company data stays secure.
Does Microsoft 365 back up our email and files on its own?
Not to the extent most firms assume. Microsoft protects its own infrastructure but will not recover a deleted or encrypted mailbox. That is why we deploy independent backup of email and files.
How much does IT support for an office cost?
The cost depends on the number of workstations and scope. We set a fixed monthly subscription so the expense is predictable. We usually start with a short audit that shows the starting point.
Do you support small offices of a few people?
Yes. We match the scope to the size of your firm, from a few workstations upwards. The subscription model works well for small teams without their own IT too.
